Used Cars Simulator - Weekly Update#26

🚗 Hey Awesome Drivers!

Welcome to the New Year! We’re still working hard on the game - what we want to show in the next Weekly Update 😀 Just a reminder – we’re showing what we're working on in the whole project. These are NOT the updates to the demo – it's the same as before 😀

1. Car Value - UI

We're working on a screen that shows the car's value. You'll be able to see exactly what condition the car and its parts are in, how clean it is, and if it's freshly painted. It will also give you suggestions on what you can do to increase the car's value (like buying missing parts). With this screen, you'll find out not only how much the car is worth but also how much profit you can make from it.

2. Optimization - Car Collisions

We’re still working on optimizing the game. Among other things, we’ve focused on collisions in this aspect. Here, you can see how we’re working on destroying car parts that can be opened. At the same time, we’re immediately checking the performance.



3. Save/Load

Another important part is the save/load system, and we’re going to spend a lot of time on it now. We need to make sure the game saves correctly and that all the important parts of your gameplay load properly.



4. Sleeping

As we mentioned before, you'll need to take care of the player's stats – including their fatigue level. This means you'll need to sleep. Taking a nap will also be an option to speed up time, which can be helpful when waiting for packages with used car parts.



5. Bug Fixing

We're still looking for bugs (and sometimes we find them by accident... 😀 ) and fixing them.



6. Terrain Improvements

We’re still working on making the desert look better.
