Used Cars Simulator - Weekly Update#22

🚗 Hey Awesome Drivers!

It’s time for the next Weekly Update! As always, in a few points, we’re presenting to you what we've been working on this week in Used Cars Simulator 😀 Just a reminder – we’re showing what we're working on in the whole project. These are NOT the updates to the demo – it's the same as before 😀

1. Engines

We’re working on car engines. You will be able to repair and replace them. You’ll also see when your engine needs repair.
Here, you can see when it’s overheated. However, it cools down over time when you’re not driving the car.



Here, on the other hand, you can see that if you place a broken engine into another car - it will still be broken. So you need to repair it first 😀



2. Car Interior

We’re adding improvements to car interiors. We’re working on panels and gauges so that the needles respond properly to your speed. Additionally, we’re ensuring that the entire panel reacts to collisions.

3. Terrain Improvements

We’re still improving the terrain to make driving and discovering new locations immersive and engaging for you. Here, you can see a camp in the lake area.

4. Prices - Improvements

We’re also improving car price calculations. As you probably know, license plates will play an important role in the game (let’s recap: we have three types - Legal, Almost Legal, and Stolen). Whether a car has a license plate (and what type it is) will also affect its value.



5. Inventory

We’re improving the Inventory system by adding more tabs. We’ve added a “Miscellaneous” tab so you’ll have a place to store lockpicks. You never know when you might need to break into a car. 😀

6. Optimization

We are heavily focused on game optimization - testing various solutions and settings and running the game on different hardware configurations.
